Candy Canes For Kids

Join us for the fifth annual Candy Canes For Kids - Collin County's premiere Holiday Kick Off event, presented by KLTY Radio and Pyrotex and benefitting Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County, on November 18, 2017 from 10:00 am - 6:00pm.  Come enjoy:

  • Kids activities, including pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses (wind permitting) face painting, balloon artists, a craft zone, and more. activity tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.  Most activities require 1 or 2 tickets.
  • Strolling entertainment including the Goode Time Carolers and Magician Alan Paoletti.
  • Character meet and greets: Meet characters such as Elsa & Anna, Spider-man, Sofia The First, Chase & Marshall from Paw Patrol and more. Here's the schedule:
  • A Holiday Market with more then 60 crafters, vendors and food purveyors!
  • Our famous peppermint stick tree build - help us build trees made of peppermint sticks to raise money for Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County.
  • An all day live broadcast with KLTY from including appearances by your favorite air personalities, prizes and more!
  • Visits with the Fairview Fire Department.  The fire department is scheduled to be here from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm for visits and the opportunity for the kiddos to see a firetruck up close. Times may change if the fire department is called to an emergency.
  • Toy Drive to benefit children served by Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County.  The first 500 kids 12 and under to bring a toy values at $10 or more will receive a FREE gift.
  • The official arrival of The Big Guy at Fairview Town Center!  Yep, he's back for 2017!
  • FIREWORKS - be sure to stay for the end of the day for a FREE fireworks display (wind permitting) at 5:45 pm presented by Pyrotex!
  • NEW FOR 2017 - a CARNIVAL!  Enjoy rides, games, and fun with Pride Amusements - 10% of the ride ticket and wrist band sales for the entire weekend (not just Saturday) benefit Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County.
