Critter Cub is back for Fall 2023! Come meet and learn about some amazing animal friends at Fairview Town Center, enjoy face painting, activity sheets, prizes, and more. Animals scheduled for this series* include:

September 9: Spider Monkey

September 16: Chinese Water Dragon

September 23: Fennec Fox

September 30: Albino Soft Shell Turtle & Blue Tongue Skink

October 7: Kinkajou

October 14: Kangaroo

October 21: Dwarf Hairy Screaming Armadillo

October 28: Lemur

A few things to know about Critter Club:

• Critter Club is geared for children ages 3-10. Younger and older children are welcome but may need assistance from parents for activities.

• Please do not bring food or beverages with a strong odor (like coffee) to Critter Club, as our animal friends may be distracted by the scent.

• Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome - no tents or shade structures please.

• During presentations, concerts, movies, special programs or community events, balls of any kind: as well as toys that can be thrown such as frisbees, are not permitted in the Fairview Town Center Park area.  At the conclusion of said programs, supervised play and safe recreation can continue.

• Depending on the number pf people attending each event, the group may be divided and rotated to activity stations using colored tickets. Please follow FTC staff instructions and remain with your group.

• These events start promptly at 10:30 am and end at 12:00 pm. If you arrive late, you may or may not be ale to participate in all activities, including meeting the animal.

*The schedule above is what we have planned with our zoo providers but it may change at any time. Please understand that these are live animals. If our animal friends are not up for a visit on event day, our “zoo crew” may substitute animals.
